It struck me the other day, I was at the office and walked by my wastebasket… it had a few coffee cups. When I say a few, I have a drinking problem, or at least a coffee drinking problem. I love coffee, Starbucks, Dunkins, Einsteins they are all great. I also work a lot, so I’m not home much making coffee.

I love my morning coffee while I’m driving to work, it relaxes me and puts me in a great frame of mind. Oh yeah, so getting back to the wastebasket. It was full of cups. It really struck me when I saw them all there how wasteful I was. A simple travel mug and wham no waste!

The worst part is I have a ton of travel mugs/cups. I get them from many of my friends and family as gifts because they know how much I love coffee.

So I think I’m going to make a concerted effort to bring my mugs with me to save on wasting all the cups.
